Johnny Solinger’s Death
Johnny Solinger passed away on June 26th, 2021 at the age of 55. It was one month after he announced that he was suffering from liver failure.
In May, he announced that he had spent the past month in a hospital because of liver failure. On Facebook, he wrote on May 8th, “It is with a heavy heart I must let everyone know what’s going on with me and my health. I have been hospitalized for over the last month. I have been diagnosed with liver failure. And prognosis is not so good. As with most musicians I do not have health insurance and it’s very difficult to get proper care without it.”
As reported on Rolling Stone, on Saturday, his former band mates made an announcement that Solinger had passed away. On the social media, the band wrote that they were saddened to hear the news of their brother Johnny Solinger. In addition, they also wrote that their thoughts were with family, friends and fans.

Skid Row is a rock band from America. This band was formed in 1986 in Toms River, New Jersey. This band obtained their commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with their first two albums entitled Skid Row in 1989 and Slave to the Grind in 1991.
In 1999, this band was re-formed with new lead vocalist Johnny Solinger and drummer Phil Varone. After this band was reformed, they opened for Kiss on its farewell tour and also played with other 1980s metals bands like Poison and INXS’s bassist Garry Gary Beers.
In 2002, this band became the part of the Rock Never Stops Tour. Then, they released its fourth studio album entitled Thickskin in the summer of 2003.
