Jessica Regina Korda was born on February 27, 1993 in Bradenton, Florida. She is a daughter of Regina Rajchrtova and Petr Korda. Her mother is a well-known tennis player and her father is also a former professional tennis player. Korda has a sister named Nelly and a brother named Sebastian.

Korda is an American and also of Czech Jewist descent. She emerged victorious at the 2010 South Atlantic Amateur and also took the runner-up position at the 2010 U.S. Women’s Amateur.
