He had some first music experiences when his mother played salsa, ballads and merengue when he was growing up. His father is Tito Martinez and he was a truck driver. His mother is Lysaurie Ocasio and she is a retired schoolteacher.
Bad Bunny has two younger brothers. Those are Bernie and Bysael. He considers his close friends to be part of his family. He stated that he was raised in a happy home so that he preferred to be at home with his family instead of out on the streets with friends.
Since he was young, he has wanted to be a singer. He grew up in a strict Catholic household and sang in the choir until he was 13 years old.
